Gaining admission to the right university is highly important to you and your child, which is why we take a personal, in-depth approach to college counseling. Students at Wasatch Academy get to work one-on-one regularly with our college counselors to help cultivate an action plan for college specific to each student. Our counselors understand that it all starts with getting to know each student. Their strengths, weaknesses, passions, likes, and dislikes, as well as their preferences in physical location and size, can provide our counselors the insight to advise each student based on their specific needs and goals.  This includes developing a list of universities and colleges that are the right fit for that student, where they will be both successful and happy.  It also includes working through the application process so that each student is able to present themselves well to those universities and colleges to which they will apply. This approach is successful as 100% of our students gain admission to colleges and universities around the world.

Navigating the College Application Process

Our counselors love to help students coordinate college campus visits and help facilitate the research process as they narrow down their search. Once it is time to start the actual application process, our counselors are on hand every step of the way to make sure that students are getting the advice and direction that they need to write the perfect essay, as well as reminders about meeting certain deadlines for that application process. Parents are welcome to be included in this process to help ensure that every student is being considered for the right opportunities to suit their passions and goals.
