We are thrilled that you are interested in applying to join our diverse, authentic, and rewarding community at Wasatch Academy. Our Admissions Team is more than willing to help you through each step of the process and understand what is required for enrollment. Whether you would like your child to become a day student or a boarding student, everything you need to apply to Wasatch can be found below.

If you would like help understanding the application process, or obtaining more information about financial aid or specific aspects of student life, don’t hesitate to call us at (435) 462-1400. Or schedule a visit to meet with our Admissions Team in person and tour the campus.

Step 1. Create an Online Application Account

Once you create an Online Application account here, you will be able to complete the application process online. You can save the different sections of your application to return to later, and work on it over time. To submit an application, you need to complete the following questionnaires found in the Online Application link above:

1. The Student Questionnaire, which includes an essay and short-answer questions to be filled out by the student.

2. The Parent Questionnaire, which is to be filled out by a parent or guardian of the applicant.

3. An application fee of $100 ($200 for international applicants) is required at the time of submission.

Step 2. Send Your Recommendations and Transcripts

In addition to the student application, we require three teacher recommendations as part of our application process. Please download and complete the following PDF files.

Please have your current school send an official transcript to Wasatch Academy. For students applying to 9th grade, only an 8th grade transcript is required. Applicants for 10th-12th grade should provide a complete transcript for all high school years completed. You can find a transcript release form here.

Step 3. Visit Campus and Interview

We strongly encourage all prospective students and their parents/guardians to visit our campus before starting at Wasatch Academy. Visiting the campus allows you and your child to experience firsthand our breathtaking mountain location and campus, observe the warmth and fellowship of our community, and meet our diverse, genuinely warm students and faculty. The best way to determine if Wasatch is truly right for your child is to make a campus visit first.

Please contact us to schedule a campus visit and set up an enrollment interview. If you are unable to visit our campus in person, we can arrange for a Skype interview once we have received your completed application. There’s no need to be nervous about the interview! It is meant to help determine if we also believe that your child is a good fit at Wasatch, and to make ourselves available to clarify any questions you have moving forward with enrollment.

For all interviewing students (either in person or via Skype) we request that prior to your interview, you read our Student Handbook thoroughly to become familiar with our policies and procedures. Please prepare any questions you have about the handbook, policies, and student experience to ask during your interview.
