Yes, you read that correctly. Our campus allows students to practice every day after school, and on Saturdays as well. We provide the facilities, equipment and coaching that can help you maintain and develop your rodeo skills for serious competition, or for personal enjoyment.
Wasatch Academy welcomes students with a wide range of interests in the competition and culture that is American rodeo. If you want to join the team, or you just want to learn to be comfortable on a horse in one of our Equestrian classes, learning and growing is always welcome in the arena.
You may be wondering why you should consider Utah rodeo schools over other options. Doesn’t it get cold during the winter months at Wasatch? You would be correct. That’s why we have a heated indoor arena on top of our fully equipped stables, and outdoor arena. We provide the calves to rope, the goats to tie, and the barrels needed to improve your turn times. Whatever equipment you need to train and prepare for your event, Wasatch makes available to our team, creating a professional rodeo school environment.
The basics of our rodeo program include:
• Practice in both cattle and non-cattle events
• Travel to rodeos
• Clinic participation with expert rodeo champions
• Practice in our covered arena
• No rough stock
Our student body represents students from over 40 different countries and 30 different states. Even when you’re on the rodeo team, there’s no such thing as living inside of a clique at Wasatch Academy. You’ll get to make deep, lifelong friendships with students possessing a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and passions, and they’ll get to learn to love rodeo through you. That’s just the nature of our tight-knit Wasatch community.
