Winter Family Weekend Ski Day Information

Join us for a special day of skiing for Wasatch Academy students and their parents at Brighton Ski Resort! Check out all the details of the day and RSVP instructions in the information below. About the Mountain
Brighton is Utah’s only resort that can boast that 100% of its terrain is accessible by high-speed quads. Five quads, one triple and magic carpet service 1,050 acres and 1,875 vertical feet of incredible Utah skiing. Other amenities include The New Millicent Chalet, three additional day lodges, high-quality rentals, top notch ski and snowboard school, lockers, cafeterias, a pub, frequent public bus transportation from many points in downtown Salt Lake City and park & ride lots around the valley. Kids 10 and under ski and ride free.
Hours of Operation
Seven days a week from mid-November through mid-April.
Daily Hours: 9 am – 4 pm
Night skiing: 4 – 9 pm Monday through Saturday early December through March.
Day Ticket – $85
Half Day Ticket – $68
Wasatch Ski Bus/Lodging
The Wasatch Academy student ski bus will depart Mount Pleasant at 7:30 a.m. and arrive at Brighton at approximately 9:30 a.m. Parents are invited to ride the bus to and from Brighton with their student
Parents can book lodging for Saturday night at Brighton and have their student stay with them. (Find lodging options online). All Students will return to campus on the ski bus that departs at
4:00 p.m. from Brighton.

Wasatch Mountain Club Lodge
Wasatch Academy has rented a day lodge located up a trail from the Brighton parking lot (see map below). Families are invited to use the lodge throughout the day. We’ll have a warm fire, hot beverages, fruit and snacks available. Order a bag lunch if you want to have lunch at the day lodge instead of one of the cafeterias or pubs.
Reaching the Day Lodge
Skiers should plan on taking the Crest Express Chairlift to “ski in” to the day lodge. Family members not planning on skiing will be assisted by students with sleds to help carry personal items on the short hike up to the lodge. Be sure to wear your boots!
