Cristina Clerico helps families understand what Wasatch has to offer and guides them through the admissions process. Cristina graduated cum laude from Utah State University in Special Education and Interdisciplinary Studies. She has worked in disability advocacy, as a family coach for child welfare, and as a case manager at a family transitional homeless shelter, where she was awarded the Oregon Housing and Homelessness Coalition's Individual Award of Merit.
When she returned to Utah to be closer to family, she served struggling teens as an advisor at a step-down boarding school. Cristina loves to volunteer and enjoyed her time as a mediator for Lincoln Dispute Resolution and as a parent educator and meditation coach at the Lincoln County Oregon jail. She was also on the board of directors for Writers on the Edge and helped out at a youth writer's group.
Cristina loves to learn and teach, especially about meditation, ADHD, and the science of well-being. She has presented at multiple conferences. Cristina loves Mount Pleasant and is excited to be at Wasatch Academy.
