Holly Hooper was born and raised in Utah and joined the faculty at Wasatch Academy in 2013. Before coming to Wasatch Academy, Holly attended Snow College, the University of Las Vegas, and graduated from the College of Southern Nevada. She worked in an art therapy/dementia unit helping military veterans before becoming a full-time artist and teacher.

Holly is an award-winning photographer who has exhibited work in Springville Art Museum, UMOCA, The Granary Art Center, Southwest Contemporary, Counterpoint, and other fine art venues and galleries around Utah and in the Midwest.

When Holly is not in the classroom or creating new art, you can find her traveling, hiking, cooking, taking astrophotography with her two sons, and playing fetch with her two dogs.
