After spending 10 years as an academic coach at Wasatch Academy, Kari Varga joined the mathematics department as a full-time instructor in 2011. She teaches Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.

Kari studied math and education at Utah State University. She values each individual learner and enjoys helping students make successful connections in mathematics. Kari was raised on a potato farm in Idaho.

When she is not in the classroom, Kari enjoys spending time with her husband, Bridger, and their three children. Her hobbies include gardening, camping, hiking, and quilting. Kari’s favorite thing about working at Wasatch Academy is that she gets to know students from around the world!
