WASATCH ACADEMY

Student Life

We’re a community

Wasatch Academy is more than a private college preparatory boarding high school; it is an inclusive community where people of diverse cultures and nationalities live, study, and play — connected by their similarities and enriched by their differences.

Within the residential community, we go beyond just academics. The diversity of Wasatch Academy directly enhances our campus culture and joins students together. We learn to care for ourselves and those around us, appreciate the value of becoming a reliable citizen, and experience the meaningful impact of little things.

By learning side-by-side in the classroom, living together in the dorms, and exploring Utah, students engage in thoughtful discussions, reflection, and positive action while creating lasting friendships.

A golden opportunity.

Our community prioritizes the acceptance of students from all walks of life, and we take pride in that. Over the past decade, students from nearly 40 countries and over 35 states have attended Wasatch.

Espousing a culture of respect, kindness, and acceptance, Wasatch Academy is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all who step foot on our campus — joining together to expand the breadth of our intellectual curiosity as we prepare students to approach the problems of tomorrow as global citizens.

We work with each student to ensure an individualized education bolstered by our Learning Services, readily available mentorship opportunities, and project-driven classroom experiences. Whether it’s life-skill coaching or content-specific tutoring, students have access to resources devoted to advancing their understanding and self-esteem.
